Psychonomy

The Medical Association officially recognizes four types of alternative and complementary medicine: acupuncture, homeopathy, mesotherapy, and osteopathy.

Popular among advocates of natural remedies, alternative and complementary health practices include acupuncture, homeopathy, mesotherapy, and osteopathy.

Popular with those who favor natural solutions, these gentle practices complement conventional care and can contribute to a person's well-being by rebalancing their energy, soothing emotional turmoil, and addressing various health issues in a natural way.

Psychonomy was created by Mr. Claude-Yves PELSY, an osteopath trained in microkinesitherapy, Chinese energetics, and unicist homeopathy.

In 1992, he launched the idea of a health practice based on reading the body's dysfunctions and developed a method to restore these lesions: Psychonomy.

Psychonomie is a gentle manual medicine that uses empathetic perception to re-inform cells.

It does not provide medical advice or diagnosis, which are reserved for allopathic medicine. The practice does not treat psychiatric disorders.

It is a synthesis of Western approaches such as the latest generation of osteopathy without manipulation or massage, craniosacral osteopathy, microkinesitherapy, and the energetic approach of traditional Indian and Chinese medicine.

Guaranteeing total safety, it is practiced through light palpation and helps to restore the body's information exchanges, maintain and preserve its harmony and balance, and bring physical relief and emotional well-being, considering the human being as a whole.

Psychonomy appeals to a medical audience (osteopaths, doctors, nurses, midwives, physical therapists, occupational therapists, etc.) seeking complementary solutions to broaden their therapeutic skills for their patients.
